I am trying to place music in a presentation that I am working on. I want to obtain the music from the original artists' cd or from Dell MusicMatch. Does anyone have a clue on how to do this?

Thanks
Michael

Rip the file to an MP3 sound file (basically, create an MP3 of the sound
file) using sound editing software (if you're recording/ripping from the
CD, that is). Then just use Insert/Movie and Sound/Sound from file.

Then use the instructions at
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00047.htm to play it across slides
(assuming that's what you want to do).

Make sure that if you rip the file from the CD, you've covered your
bases with copyrights. Otherwise, the sound may not play in your PPT
file even if you've done everything correctly.

You might want to have a look here first:

Do I have the right to use music, pictures, etc. in my presentations?
