Power point will not let me import from my music file
(WMA) file from windows media. Windows media will not let
me save files as a wav file.

Thank you all, you answered my question.

Also, what version of Windows Media Player is installed and what is the
source of the WMA? If it's WMP9 and you copied the music from a CD and
saved it to WMA, you may not be able to insert the file in PowerPoint
because it might be protected by DRM (Digital Rights Management). With the
introduction of WMP9, you may only be able to simply copy CD tracks and play
them on your system. That means that you can't insert them in PowerPoint
without a license from the music company.
