Importing MPG created from TV tuner software

I've recorded an MPEG2 video w/ MPEG1 audio, stored as a
single MPG file, using my Aver TV tuner card. The movie
plays correctly in WM9 player, but when I import the file
into MM, it only plays/allows editing of the audio, but
not the video. I'm guessing it's a MM codec issue. The
codec is obviously on my machine, since WM9 player can
play it. Any ideas on how I can get MM to import this
MPG file correctly?
