Importing mpeg (mp) 4 video

I tried importing one of the videos i have taken using my mobile phone with
mp4 format. Windows gave me an error message saying Windoes Movie maker
doesn't support this type of files. Any solutions for this? Thanks

Windows Movie Maker is not compatible with
..mp4 video files. You'll have to convert the file
into a compatible format, .wmv or .avi for example.

A Google search for Convert MP4 should yield
some possible conversion software.

I've had acceptable results using the following
trial software:
