importing messages after reinstall

I had to do a reinstall back to the factory settings. I did copy the messages
out of Outlook Express before the reinstall. How do I import them back into
OE? Each message reads as an Outlook Express Mail Message.

Did you copy the messages (EML files) or the message store (DBX files)?
If it was the DBX files and you included Folders.dbx, Put them in an empty
Windows folder that you create. If they were on a CD remove the Read Only
attribute. Then use OE's File | Import | Messages | Outlook Express 6 and
Browse to the Windows folder you put them in.

If it was EML files just drag them into a folder in OE.
