Importing Media Problems

I'm having problems with windows movie maker 2.1, everytime I try to
import a media to the program I get an error message informing me that
I have unkown problems. I have went to a websites on how to fix the
problem but none had my problem. I did find a problem that was close
to mine, but their problem was only for Audio or only for Video
importing. I have tried there solution, which was to leave out third
party codecs. It was unsesseful, so if some one had my problem or has
the knowlege to fix this problem please help me.

You fail to mention your OS...if you are
running Vista...disregard the following.

Some users have reported problems
after installing IE7. If this applies to your
situation ...uninstalling IE7 may be worth
a try.
