The .CTT file that the MSN export creates is an XML file so one way you can
deal with it is by renaming the file with an .XML extension and open it in
Excel (at least with Excel 2002 - 2003 - not sure about Excel '2000
anymore).
Once you have it in excel -
- delete the "Name" column which will show ".Net Messenger Service" in all
rows. This leaves you with one column called "contact".
- save the file in CSV format which you can then import into Outlook or
save it as an XLS file making sure you apply a "named range" for the data
you want to import. Either way works.
This info applies to Win'XP MSN version 4.7.2009 and may differ for other
versions.
