Today I reinstalled (from scratch) WinXP, and then Office 2003. Before doing
so, I copied my outlook.pst file and archive.pst file onto a CD. I imported
all the data from the old .pst file into the new. Two questions:
First, I can't get the address book to display and nor can I get
autocomplete to work for addressees in email (even though I have the options
set up correctly). I get an error message telling me that the address list
can't be displayed, that the contacts folder associated with this address
list could not be opened. I'm stumped.
Second, regarding the archive.pst file, should I simply copy it into the
folder where it belongs, or should I import the data? (With the outlook.pst
file, I learned that importing is the right thing, but I'm unsure about the
archive.pst file.)
Thank you,
