I have a contact list on a floppy disk and want to import
it to MS Word, then to "address book" in Outlook
Express.How please?

Outlook Express and Word don't interact as far as I know. I don't think you
could import from Word. You don't say in what form or format you have the
contact list however if it was created with Word, if there's a way to do it,
you should check a Word newsgroup.

Please go to the following site, scroll the list on the left to Word and try
your question in one of those groups:

Thanks Michael.I did it by exporting from the floppy to "my docs",thence to OX.
.

The best way is using Excel.

Open your word file. Select the Table (Table/Select/Table). Then, click the
copy button.
Open a blank Excel workbook. Click Paste. Now, your table is in Excel.
When you save it, at the bottom of the save as dialog box, (Save as Type)
click the down arrow and select CSV (Coma Delimited) .*csv. in a location
where you can find it.
Open Outlook Express. Go to your address book.
Click File/Import/Other address book.
From the list, choose Text File, Comma Separated Values. Click the Import
Button. Click the Browse button and browse to your file.
Click on the CSV file you saved earlier. Click Open. Follow the rest of the
wizard as you make the choices of fields, etc. that you want to import.

Hope this helps.
