Importing from Excel

I have an Excel 2002 spreadsheet that I am trying to
import to an existing Access table. The data from Excel
that I am importing is identical to what is in the Access
table. If it makes a difference the table in Access is
set up with no data currently in it. When I use the
wizard it does not give me the option to import to an
existing table, only the new table option is available.
What am I doing wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong. That's the way the wizard is set up.

You can import into a new table, then write an Append query to put the data
into the existing table.
