My PowerPoint font is Verdana, but is displayed as Times New Roman when
viewing the output from Producer. Any idea how I can get Producer to accept
the font from PowerPoint?
Thanks!

What do you mean when you say "my PowerPoint font is Verdana"? Where is
this font specified?

The browser (which is the viewer in Producer) displays text with
unspecified font in the default browser font (which in IE is Times New
Roman) so I guessing that what you are seeing in Times New Roman are fields
with no specific font defined.

I am not sure under what circumstances PowerPoint would output fields
without a defined font though.

I'm defining the font type in PPT via the master slide. But when viewed with
IE, it appears to be Times New Roman.

This is on the same machine I presume?

For me fonts appear the same in the Producer output and preview as viewed
in the browser as they are defined and appear in PowerPoint regardless of
how I define them in Powerpoint so I am not sure what may be happening.

Does this problem happen in preview mode in Producer and in the published
output?

Is there something special about your machine configuration? Non English
perhaps?

Thanks for your help, it led me to find the issue. The font that I was
defining in the master slide of PPT was Myrian Web, which must not be a
standard font that IE can interpret. Once I changed that font to Verdana, it
looked fine out of Producer.

Cheers!
