Importing files into Movie Maker - 'Unspecified error'

I cn extract data from my camera, and can make clips. When I try to import
files into Movie Maker I get a message saying that the file could not be
imported - unspecified error.

I have taken video material and made them into movies on friends PCs using
Windows Movie Maker so it is not the data.

Any ideas?
