IMPORTING FAVORITES

Is there another way to import Favorites than using the
XP Import Wizard?
I am reasonably sure that I accomplished this once by
just drag n' drop, but the system seems to have reverted
to the Favorites that came out of the box.

Wes,
I have already done that, and when I open that folder I
see all my Favorites listed there. But when I select
Favorites from the top of an IE page I get: Links, Media,
MSN.com, Radio Station Guide, Realplayer, Microsoft.com,
and My Yahoo.
It seems like the system isn't getting the Favorites from
C:\Documents and Settings\Joseph McGrath\Favorites as I
also believed.
Any ideas?

Joe

Joe,

Where is the favorites shell folder location pointing to, in the registry?

Open Registry Editor and goto:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\UserShell Folders
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders

In both the locations, look for the value "Favorites" in the right-pane and post the contents here.

And are you using Earthlink?
