importing favorites

I had to install a new hard drive and load windows on my computer because my
old hard drive had a software conflict and Windows would not load. So I am at
square one on my computer. How can I import my IE favorites and my desktop
settings so I can use them now. Non of the programs on the old hard drive can
open, but they are all there.

Just copy and paste the favorties. The programs don't work because the disk
paths are different from when they were installed on the old drive.
 
Follow Singapore Web Design excellent advice but make sure that the Read Only attribute is removed when following the steps that were given to you
