Importing Excel

I have been importing Excel files into my Access Database
without issue. I had to reinstall Office 97 and since
then have been unable to import from Excel. Once I chose
Import the Excel file type is not an option. There is a
msg to reinstall changing Data Types or installing the 97
Valupack. I have done both and the file type for Excel
is still not available. Suggestions on how to get that
option back would be appreciated! Thanks,

Thank you for your prompt response. I did search the KB,
but I didn't see these articles. It worked! I really

Look for the file msexcl35.dll on your hard drive (it should be in the
System folder), and use regsvr32.exe to reregister it.
