importing excel spreadsheet to word

Can anyone tell me please if it is possible to import an
excel spreadsheet into a word document?
 
Certainly is! Highlight the desired cells, press CTRL-C to copy, switch
over to Word, click the "Edit" menu and select "Paste Special". Here you
should select "Microsoft Excel Object" and you can also click the "Paste
Link" option if you want the data to be dynamic in your Word document (i.e.,
when you change it in Excel, it automatically updates in Word).
