Importing Excel File From Web

Hi,

The problem is the following:

I have to visit an internal url, example:
http://cmw/htm/e107_files/Signallevel/180CONNECT/180Connect_Assets.xls, and
has no password, every morning and download the excel file to a path on my PC
then upload it to access.

Is there anyway I can automate the part where the file is downloaded
automatically to the path I choose and thus allowing access to process the
file?

You can add the Internet Explorer Browser control to a form specifying the
web site where your spreadsheet is located, this way you are starting in
Access which may save a step or two. Once the file is saved to your disk you
can automate it's import using the transferspreadsheet method. If there is a
way to automate the initial download process I don't know that.
