Importing events to the calendar

Im attempting to import events from a .txt file to the outlook calender. We
are currently using Outlook 2003. The events are from our HR program and I
want to load the days off approved of an employee to their supervisors
calendar. Has anyone written code to accomplish this? Any help would be
appreciated.

In what internal format is this text file? Is it in a tab- or
comma-separated values format in labeled columns or is it just narrative
text flowing down the file?
