Importing EUDORA 5.2 e-mail into Outlook 2003

When attempting to import e-mail from Eudora 5.2, I get
the following messate
"The mail folder could not be opened. If another
application is using this file, please close it and try
again". Has anyone else experienced this problem? If you
have, what did you do to correct this problem? I DO NOT
HAVE EUDORA RUNNING AT THE TIME I GET THIS MESSAGE.

Which application have you got set as the default email client?
 
I have Outlook 2003 set as my default e-mail client. Can
I check some registry value to ensure that this is
correct?

Try using Outlook Express as an intermediary - and please quote at least
