Importing emails into access.

Hi, I have created a linked table from access 07 to my inbox in outlook 07.
The data that is imported into access doesnt contain any attached files. How
do i either import the file aswell or automatically create a link from the
imported data back to the email so i can get to the files.

What exactly are you wanting to do? Why need to pull the emails into Access?
 
I use issue/correspondance tracking on access. Information comes via
fax/phone and email so i am trying to store all the information in the one
spot for easy tracking.

I would like an access table that contains the header, the contents, time
received, person who sent it and the attachments of the emails received in my
projects inbox.

So the Journal in Outlook isn't an option?

Hi David,

Hadn't used the journal in outlook before. Just had a quick look. The issue
would be that I would have to customize outlook to be able to use all the
other information that I store in access. Things like being able to see all
the stores that one client owns and being able to easily see all the
correspondance from 10 different suppliers for the one store.

With access I can customise every form to suit the way i work. So i think i
need to stick with access unless there is a way to import access forms into
outlook.

would then be able to set it up to run when you receive new mail. You'd
have to create UserForm to prompt the user as to which client the email
belongs to, but that would also be fairly simple.
