hi!, im a previous user of winme and ive just installed xp, an error must have occured when i installed xp, cause all my emails and email addresses along with my IE links is lost, cant find them anywhere....

surely when installing an operating system as advanced as XP, you assume that your emails/email adresses and the links youve gathered along the way automatically gets imported to the different programs...

anyhow i would like to know where i can find it, and how i import it, plzz respond to (e-mail address removed)..

greetings kristian from denmark

Hi Rick!

Im sorry but i followed the exact instructions on the help page you gave me, but none of it worked...
When i try importing my emails, all i get is a message saying: congratulations! the email messages was imported without errors...

but the inbox, outbox stays the same....

when i search for my windows adress book (.wab file) i can only find older versions, not the one from winme....

Its the strangest thing cause when i look in my documents and settings folder, i see several folders containing information on win 95 and win 98SE which i was using for some years ago....but the folder with my winme info is not there...and thats the operating system ive had for a really long time...

anyway, i also asked if you knew how to find my bookmarks from winme...

Hi Kristian,

Continue to look under the other listed profiles for additional .dbx files.
Your old favorites should be there as well. You will need to copy the links
to your new user profile.
