I have a new computer with Windows XP. My old computer
has Windows ME. I copied all my outlook files on a disc
and when I went into Outlook on my new computer and tried
to import from the disc, the email file was empty. Is
there a way to import my outlook data from ME to XP?
Thank you for your help.

Check this page for all you need to know:
http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm

If you copied onto a CD:
Outlook needs to have read/write access to a .PST file in order to work with
it. Copy your .PST file from the CD back to your hard drive (or other
rewritable media), turn off the Read-Only attribute (right-click the file,
choose properties), then Outlook should be able to open it.

The Files and Settings Transfer Wizard may be of help here. It's on "All
Programs">"Accessories">"System Tools".
