I am trying to import a text file that is larger than the
number of rows in a worksheet. Excel imports the data
into the first column only, then gives me a message that
the file is too large, to redo the import excluding
already imported data. Is there a way to import into
multiple columns so all the data fits? Or, how do I
exclude the already imported data - I can't seem to make
the import wizard do this?

In the first screen of the import wizard it says start import at row 1

change the 1 to 32768 (I believe that is the highest number you can use).

You will have to do it in a separate workbook, then copy over.
