Importing Data to contacts has messed up Outlook

Hi there,

We tried to export/import data from i.e. an excel file via
the new Outlook 2003 wizard into the Outlook contacts.
Tried it only with 10 itmes so far to see if it will
work. It then took all afternoon to just import the data
and now all the contacts dissapeared & it has messed up
the program as a whole.

Does anyone know why this might have happened or what I
can do to do to fix this error that has occurred. Every
time I try to open the OUtlook program anytime, outlook
keeps on stating via a box that it is checking the program
for faults.... something like that. It then takes ages
and sometimies freezes the computer screen and cant
function correctly.

Notify if you have experienced this maybe before or what I
can try to fix it? Shall I try to re-install outlook now,
that this error has occurred?
