My company has been using Lotus Approach to maintain a database of client records. We currently have about 19000 records in the database but have been having problems with Approach so have decided to switch to Access .We don't have much technical knowledge and are wondering whether it's possible to transfer the data from the existing Approach database. The thought of starting from scratch and keying in all the records again doesn't appeal! Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I am not sure whether you can import into Access directly
from Approach but if it is not possible, you can export
Records from Approach to a file format such as Excel or
CSV and these files can be imported into Access. I did
this once about 4 years ago and I think I used Excel file-
format.

You will most likely will have to create Forms / Reports /
etc... from scratch.
