Hi ... I just imported 34 excel files into an access table. Access
designated a primary key for me. The first of the 34 files were numbered 1
to 23603. The remaining rows of data from the other 33 files jump suddenly
and are numbered 82185569 thru 82721859. There are a total of 559893 rows of
data. I don't see any blank rows between 23603 and 82185569.
Does it matter that there was a large jump in primary key from 23603 to
suddenly 82185569? Can I work with the database like this? Or, can/should I
renumber the primary key somehow to be 1 thru 559893?
Please let me know.
Thank you.
