Importing Custom Buttons and connecting in FP 2003

I am a relatively new user so I suspect this is probably something basic. I
have created a button image in Photoshop 6.0, and now want to use it as my
button in FP 2003. I am confused as to the process. As of now, I have three
basic pages I want to link to (Child Pages Under Home?) I have tried clicking
the image and connecting the hyperlink, I have added words on top and tried
linking, and I have tried the image map method. But when I view, I get no
action. Please Help!

All three should work, but the first method seems the easiest.

It doesn't matter that it's a jpg vs gif.

I can right-click on the button and go "follow hyperlink" and it goes to the
appropriate place, but I cannot simply click like a user and have it go to
the correct page. Can this actually be done in "preview" mode?

Thanks Rob -- When I do that "Preview in Browser," the linked page opens in
that left-panel frame containing the hyperlink buttons -- Suggestions?

Thanks, Mike

Not without seeing the page.

If you're really using frames, you may want to reconsider unless you're prepared to deal with frames issues..or have a really compelling reason to use frames.

Thanks again Rob! That did the trick. I removed the frames and placed the
custom buttons directly on the page and linked them and ... viola, they
worked!
