Importing Contacts

I have a contact list in Excel and I would like to import it to Outlook 2007
into either a separate Distribution List, or Contact List. Is this possible
and how is it accomplished? I tried using File, Import, Excel, and I get an
error message about not having a Named Range for data, something that had to
be done within Excel.

So name the range. Why can't you do that?
The alternative is to save the file as a csv file and import that.
