Trying to import a csv file into Outlook 2007. Gets most of the way
thru the Import File procedure, then Map Custom Fields and Next are
both grayed out, can't go any further. Any idea what might be causing
this? Thanks!

Haven't been able to figure out what's causing this problem, which
essentially makes Outlook useless to me...

Hi,

I experienced problems with the Outlook Import function, when my CSV file
was too big (for Outlook). Maybe Outlook "doesn't like" your CSV file. Try
with a very simple file containing for example only two records, and ensure
the fields are separated with commas.

Thanks Michal. I finally solved this by first importing into another
program, then exporting from there into Outlook. Apparently Outlook
doesn't like the ECCO export...

I am using Vista Home Premium, Office 2007. If I include a .gif in
an email there is no animation, not before I send it, nor when it is
in the Sent folder.

Friends tell me they receive it animated but I used to be able to see
the animation before I sent it with XP and Office 2003.

Is there a setting I am overlooking that should be checked in order
for it to do this ?

TIA
Sheena

No, Outlook 2007 does not do animations thank goodness.

What has this to do with importing contacts, which is the subject of the
thread you replied to?
