Importing Contacts from Excel

Nothing seems to happen after I select the file - the
message says this may take a few minutes and the contacts

I am with you. I have been trying for two weeks now to

import all of our company phone numbers from Excel into
Outlook. I want for them to go into the Rolodex and
nothing is working. Hope someone can help.
 
When you say "nothing seems to happen" - means what exactly? System hangs,
you continue on but nothing is imported? etc

First thing to check is the "named range" being used making sure it covers
all the data you want to import.

Had the same problem......
Solved it by exporting (from Excel) to a *.csv file, them importing
(into Outlook) from the *.csv file.
