I am fairly new to movie maker, however I have now made several movies with
no problems until now. Every time I try to import any audio or music file I
receive a message saying the file is not valid or corrupted. None of my
settings have changed that I know of and my antivirus status is good. Does
anyone have an idea that may help????

If you guys got that issue resolved then I need some help with converting an
audio file in .dss format. When I go to import it into windows it gives me
this message:

The file E:\DS330019.dss is not a supported file type, and it cannot be
imported into Windows Movie Maker.

How do I resolve this problem? I know it's a simple fix but I am tired and
seeing double and need some help if possible.

Thanks,
COA

Open the file in the DSS player and right click on it.... select convert to
wave file. Use the WAV file in Movie Maker

Thanks PJ,

I figured that out almost as soon as I posted my question. Thanks for your
help and now it works great. Thanks again and have a great weekend.
