Importing audio/music clips from iTunes

I downloaded songs from iTunes and converted them to mp3, which has worked
before. But now all the songs I downloaded, when I try to import them into
my "movie," I get the error message that file -----.mp3 could not be
imported. There is not an option for reading about why that is or anything
like that. could someone please help me?????????
 
i have exactly the same problem and 'chatted' online with itunes USA who do
not know what the problem is. 2 of my 9 downloaded files imported (itunes +,
converted to mp3) but the rest didn't. itunes refunded the money as files no
good to me - specifically downloaded for home footage movie. Great, but
there is no way to know which songs will import and which songs won't import!

If anyone has the answer, please help!
