Importing appointments from Calender 1.0

I have been using Microsoft Works Calender 1.0 (part of microsoft works,
1998) to manage my appointments. I believe that outlook 2003 will serve my
needs much better. Is there any way I can import my appointments from
Calender v1.0?

Export tab delimited and use Outlook's File menu > Import & Export command
to import the file
