importing an report

I am trying to import an report from the other folder at the same machine
using Access 97. It takes me 8 minutes to finish. But if I run the source
report and it only takes 30 second. Can you please help why the importing is
very long and how to fix it? THanks.

What kind of Report, Eric? Are you using File... Get External Data...
Import to import a Report object from one Access .mdb file into
another, or what? Could you explain what you mean by "run the source
report"?
