Hi

I created an address book in word whilst doing a mass mailing project.
I now would like to import the address book into Outlook Express 6 now, but
don't seem to know how to do it.
I have tried the import function but it does not pick up the mdb file where
the book is located.
Any help please is much much appreciated.

Well, an mdb file is not an Outlook file, not is it an "address book" file,
since Outlook uses the Contacts folder for addresses, so Outlook Express
won't be able to touch it. Create a Personal Address Book in Outlook and
transfer your contacts to it. You can then import that into Outlook
Express.

MDB is an ACCESS data base. You need to open the file in Access and
then save to a CSV (Comma Separated Values Text file) which OE can
import.

To see an example of what OE would expect, export an existing OE address
book to CSV format.
