importing act 2007 version 9 to BCM

Has any one been able to convert data successfully, I just can't seem to be
able to figure it out. Conversion does not complete.

In many of these cases, the problem is a corrupt item in ACT's
database. BCM asks ACT to pass it all the objects and when ACT gets to
the corrupt object, it throws an exception and stops processing. The
solution is to remove that item from ACT and try again. The symptom
for those cases is that the import will process some items and always
stop at the same item number.
 
I tried to import ACT! 9 to Business Contact Manager and all I got was
garbage. One-third of my notes were imported, The rest were blank. I have
resorted to manually cutting and pasting from ACT! 9 to Business Contact
Manger. That is a pain.
