Before all else, please forget that you are able to Import PST2PST - in
simplistic terms, pretend the "Import" option DOES NOT EXIST.
Instructions are simple (based on your post that you already have your Lotus
Notes contacts in an Outlook PST file):
#1 - Copy your PST file from CD to somewhere on your computer
#2 - Whereever, you put this file, right click on it --> Properties -->
remove (uncheck) the "read-only" checkbox (don't froget this step else can't
use PST)
#3 - Open Outlook (if not already open)
#4 - From Outlook File menu - Open --> Outlook Data File (follow screens to
get to where you copied file above and open it)
#5 - You're done - you will now have access to whatever is contained in the
PST file
#6a - If you want your contacts in this PST file to be in your default
contact folder - just "COPY" them from one contact folder to the other (if
you need help with copying things - separate topic so just ask but whatever
you do - DO NOT import/export anything, not required or recommended for your
scenario).
-- OR --
#6b - If you're going to keep these contacts separate - don't forget to add
the contact folder to your Outlook Address Book.
Caveat:
You neglected to mention what version of Outlook was used to create the PST
file and what version of Outlook you are using which can put a damper on
things Ergo, if the PST file was created for Outlook'2003 (or '2007) and you
are using Outlook '2002 (XP) - you won't be able to use the PST file and
instructions above are not applicable. If you are using either the same or a
later version of Outlook than that used to create the PST file with Lotus
contacts - you should not encounter any problems
