I imported video from my digital camcorder using Movie Maker, , (started out
by importing 3 clips, about 15 seconds each) . . during playback, the video
is choppy and does not play smoothly.... what can I do to improve playback
quality?
Thanks for the help......

First, make sure you have ALL software on your boot drive, and
all video files on your separate data drive (different physical
drive, not a partition) so you have complete separation of the
operating system and data files

For a newsgroup, try rec.video.desktop

For web sites, try the HOW TO section http://www.videohelp.com/
and the TWEAK links at http://www.videoguys.com/dtvhome.html

Try the microsoft.public.windowsxp.video newsgroup for better results.

Errr, or even microsoft.public.windowsxp.moviemaker... There are a total of
6 mm groups; I just looked.

Just curious Colin: Why weren't they your recommendation?
