When i Import an MPEG file which i recorded on my "Sony Smart Zom DSC-P92" digital camera it runs the sound at double speed but the picture at normal speed. Windows media player and other video editing programs run both at normal speed. I cant find any setting in mm2 to fix this problem.
I hope someone can help, email me if you can please
thankyou

I have looked around some forums and have been told to download: MainConcept's MPEG encoder (www.mainconcept.com
I have done this, installed it and converted my Mpeg but now the coverted Mpeg has no sound at all
Does anyone know what settings i have to use for this encoder or does anyone know of another way that can help me

thankyou

Instead of trying to find an MPEG2 codec, it might be easier to use whatever
software came with the camera to convert the file into a format that works
with Movie Maker.

The software that came with the camera only downloads images and movies off the camera. The movies that come off the camera are MPEG files and work fine in evrything but moviemaker2.
Is there anything else i can do?

See the Importing Source Files > Video > MPEG2 page of my website.

You can wrestle with MPEG2 codecs and you may or may not end up being
successful. You say it plays fine in 'everything but MM2..' Can one of them
that plays it fine act as a converter?
