Yesterday when I turned on my laptop some of the taskbar icons like volume
and battery meter were missing. When I went to the taskbar properties, it
would not let me check the boxes to reactivate them (could only check and
uncheck the clock icon). No matter what I did, they wouldn't appear.
Today the icons are back. Does anyone know what could have caused this or why
it wouldn't allow me to activate the icons in the taskbar properties? I
hope this doesn't happen again.
PS The hide inactive icons were NOT checked.
