I'm running Outlook 2007 on Windows XP. I have many contact books in Eudora
6.03 that succesfully imported into Outlook Express, but they won't go from
Outlook Express to Outlook. What's the best way to get thois done?

Many thanks.

Why can't you import from Outlook Express into Outlook? The term "contact
books" has no meaning. You can only import the Main Contacts Folder from OE
into Outlook, and the chances of your Contacts surviving a double import I
would rate as slim. Why did you choose this maze?

particularly as Outlook will import directly from Eudora......

My Outlook 2007 doesn't appear to have that option. I believe it was
removed in Outlook 2003.

Outlook 2007 here from Office Standard - still has the Eudora option.....

Thanks all. Call me crazy but I'm in Outlook 2007 Standard, looking at File
Import/Export; Import from another program or file; and Eudora isn't there. I
have been able to import individual, categorized "nickname" (as Eudora calls
them) phonebooks, i.e. Friends, rather than a cumulative database of all
addresses. I've done this by exporting them from Eudora as "text separeted by
commas" and then importing them into Outlook, but this seems to have serious
limitations and is very tedious, given the number of "Nickname" sublists I
have in Eudora. Any other thoughts would be most welcome.
