I have several web data bases that I work with and I am looking for a way to
import them into 1 data base and be able to work off line.

also for a data base I am working with for some reason I forgot how or there
is a bug.
I used to be able to print out the data base with a field displaying the
date of print.
I did the ()today thing according to the help files but it only puts by
default the date the record was created.
I know I did it in the past for can not do it now for some reason.

Thank you for any help you may give.

To print the current date on a report, use an unbound text field and put...

=Date()

As far as importing 'web databases' you would need to tell us what type of
databases. Where are they stored? What program/format? To get them, you
would FILE/GET EXTERNAL DATA...

Thank you Rick.

I am self taught with access and will try my best to answer your questions
correctly.

I am using Access XP
Data bases will be stored on my hard drive.

I dont know what programs were used to create the web based data bases.
they are at different sites and look totally different.
it is a bit of a challenge but I love a good challenge. its just that even
some of the help
files are beyond me.

I was going to try the Get external data thing night but work happened.
I am going to mess around with that today.
thank you again.
