Are there any simple solutions to importing an Excel file into custom defined
fields in Outlook? I found out that you can even customize fields in BCM, so
I created a useful (for my business) template in Outlook, but now find out
that importing is a more complicated endeavor. Any tricks or suggestions?
How about a contractor that could write the translations script for me?
Thanks, Tom

Yes, there are 2 options, Map Custom Fields & Change Destination. When I
click on Map Custom Fields, it only appears to bring up the "standard"
options.

The term "Map Custom Fields" in the Outlook wizard is a misnomer - has
nothing to do with custom fields but rather only lets you map specific
fields from your data source to the available fields shown by Outlook (which
is also not a complete list of available fields).

Short answer is that you can not import into any custom fields not to
mention that Outlook will not import any of your data to anything other then
the standard Outlook contact form (IPM.Contact). So as Ben stated - you
either have to write your own code or use a 3rd party tool. You may find one
of the ContactGenie products of interest.
