import specification for access 2003

I cannot seem to find where to create an import specification for access
2003. I know there used to be an advanced button on the import wizard, but
it's gone with 2003.

Can anyone help me figure this out?

It is there. You don't get import specs with an XLS file, only text files.
After you select your file, you get the import wizard and the advanced button
is on the lower left.
