Import .PST file?

I backed up my .PST file and gave it the name BackupPst.PST file.

I backed it up on CD and Desktop, yet when I go in OE to Import and point it
to either location, it will never go to the file but only the CD or the
Desktop and then the Import says it finds no messages there.

How can I restore this file?

Well OE cannot do anything with a pst as this is an Outllook data file
Never use Import/Export on a pst, you will likely lose data or corrupt it.
The pst has to be located on hd, with read only flag off, then in OL
File>Open>Data File.....browse to location
To backup a pst, with OL closed simply copy it to wherever.
Also never overwrite a pst

One this group is for Internet Explorer as in the title. Two, OE (Outlook
EXPRESS) doesn't use pst files and will not import one unless Outlook (NOT
Outlook EXPRESS) is installed on the same machine.

I now get a message that says:

You are importing to a location that does not fully support Unicode. It is
recommended that you chose a location that supports Unicode"

I have no idea where it was ever set to Unicode. What do I have to do to
make this import odf messages work in Outlook, MS Office 2003?

see Data File.

I am sorry. I DID find the Data file this time (it really was not there the
first time) and I do have the messages now.

Thanks for all who so patiently tried to help.
