Import PP2003 slide into PP 2007

I'm having trouble import slides from PP2003, i have PP2007 presentation open
ans when i try to import a slide the format is lost. I'm using PP2007 in
compatibility mode and still no luck.

Hi Joe

Are you using re-use slide? Make sure you have 'keep source formatting'
ticked down in the bottom right hand corner of the taskpane.

i have "keep source formatting" clciked, still having trouble with formatting.

OK. What formatting problems are you having exactly? Also make sure you have
an up to date local prinetr driver installed - I kow it sounds crazy but it
fixes many 2007 formatting issues:
