How do I transfer my contacts, that was saved on a cd, from Office Outlook
to Vista?
Thank you so much.

If you saved them as a CSV file Windows Contacts can import from that.

I have the same question as Sharon. The files were saved as .pst files.
Can they also be imported? Thanks.

Windows Mail can't directly use or import a .pst file.

1. Open Outlook on your XP computer, export the .pst data to Outlook Express
format. Copy the .dbx &.wab files to a temporary folder on the Vista
computer. Open Windows Mail, and import.

2. Install Outlook on the Vista computer. Open Windows Mail, and import.
Or, continue using Outlook, as it's probably better.

Dave's right. If you have Outlook 2003 or later that's probably better than
Windows Mail or Windows Live Mail.
