IMPORT of saved WLM messages does not show up after successful

I saved my previous messages of Windows Live Mail to an external harddisk.

After I re-installed Windows XP and downloaded and set up Windows Live mail
I went to File, Import and the Import Live Mail Messages. I pointed to the
external hard disk, found the proper folder and selected then the import.

I could see how all the folders and messages were importetd, yet when I look
then in Windows Live Mail I do NOT see the imported messages, even though it
said the Import was successful.

I tried it twice and the results so far are the same.

What is happening?
 
I found it.

It puts it all in IMPORTED FOLDERS rather than in the Inbox, Sent messages
etc.

Got it all.
