Import of mails from Outlook XP

Is it possible to import mails from Outlook XP to Windows Mail?
If you know how please explain to me how to do it.

Hi,
Export from Outlook XP to a location you will remember (should be a .pst
file) then import this to Windows mail (Select File/import/messages/outlook).
If you know where your Outlook XP mail store location is, you can import
directly from there.

I get an error message when I choose File/Import/Messages/Outlook saying the
the MAPI client cannot be imported...

What to do??

Outlook has to be installed and using that PST file as its default.

Go to the machine with Outlook.
Open Outlook Express.
Import the mail from Outlook.
Then follow the instructions here:
