Need help very bad! We just upgraded Peoplesoft to
version 8.4x. I am trying to figure out how to fix or
setup to allow Power users to ODBC to Peoplesoft from MS
Access application. I checked and checked the database
properties and permissions. Again and again, when I tried
to Import tables from Peoplesoft using Access application,
I only see one table listed. When I tried with SQL Server
Enterprise Manager, I can see all tables. Is there a
limitation or a Peoplesoft setup issue? And last, I even
tried to create a brand new database on the same SQL
server and I was able to see all system tables using
Access application.

One user noted this: (unverified)
The list box that displays the objects that can be linked has a limit of
64,000
characters. In my case, the database contains 19,000 tables and 15,000
views, so I quickly exceeded that limit. I resolved the problem by
creating a role in SQL
Server that has access to a limited set of tables \ views.
I assigned a user id to the role and then used the user id in my DSN.
